ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Spencer Stoner was born in the state of Nevada, where he still lives today.  In addition to writing, he is also a co-host of the Three Nerdy Stoners podcast (coming soon!).

He has three siblings with which he had to compete for food growing up. Obviously, he did survive the ordeal more or less intact.

​

As for hobbies, Spencer is a black belt in American Kenpo Karate. He may or may not enjoy getting hit too much during training. (No one has ever accused him of being entirely sane.)

​

He also loves comics and DIVINE INTERVENTION is his first foray into that format of storytelling. Because of the influence from that art form, Spencer draws portraits of his characters to make sure their descriptions stay consistent through all his stories and avoid what he calls "wandering mole syndrome".

​

To waste time, he plays video games...a lot. In particular, he enjoys role playing, fighting, and adventure games.  Among his favorites are the Final Fantasy series (with VII being his personal favorite so far), the Metroid series, Mortal Kombat, Dead or Alive, as well as the new Tomb Raider. 

​

Currently, he can often be found playing Destiny 2. Oftentimes with one of his sisters to make sure he stays on task.

​

Finally, Spencer is an avid collector of the classic video gaming systems, and his collection includes almost every system from the original 8-bit NES up to the Wii and PS4. He is looking forward to adding the current gen of systems to his horde.
